A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.

Coffee liqueur and banana make up a frosty cocktail that's borderline too good. If you're looking for a thicker drink (to slow yourself down?), try freezing the banana ahead of time.
1 ounce rum-based coffee liqueur
1 ounce rum cream
2 ounces milk
1/2 ounce simple syrup (a mixture of 1/2 water and 1/2 sugar that is simmered until sugar is dissolved)
1/2 banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend for 1 minute, or until desired consistency. Serve immediately in a frosted mug.
For a decorative touch, drizzle chocolate syrup inside the mug before adding the cocktail.
Try adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an even creamier and thicker version of the Dirty Banana.
To boost the coffee flavor, add a shot of cold brew coffee in addition to the coffee liqueur.
If you prefer a sweeter cocktail, adjust the amount of simple syrup to taste.
For a lighter version, use skim milk or a low-calorie milk alternative.
A pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg blended with the cocktail can add an interesting spice note.
If the cocktail is too thick, add more milk or a little water to reach the desired consistency.
For an extra cold drink, chill the liquors in the refrigerator or freezer before blending.
Using a frozen banana adds thickness and creaminess to the cocktail.
Yes, you can use a regular coffee liqueur or even a chocolate liqueur for a different flavor, though it will alter the traditional taste of the cocktail.
You can substitute rum cream with coconut cream and a splash of rum, or use Irish cream as a different but delicious alternative.
Combine equal parts water and sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved. Cool before using in the cocktail. Here is a simple syrup recipe.
Any type of milk can be used according to preference, including whole milk for creaminess or almond milk (or similar) for a dairy-free option.
Prepare the cocktail in batches and serve in frosted mugs or glasses, garnished with a slice of banana or a sprinkle of ground coffee for a decorative touch.
It's best served fresh to maintain the frosty texture. However, you can prep the bananas (and freeze them) and simple syrup ahead of time.
Rinse the mug and place it in the freezer for at least an hour before serving. This will create a frosted appearance and help keep the cocktail cold.
A slice of banana, a sprinkle of grated chocolate, or a dusting of cocoa powder are great garnishes.
A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.
Keeping a can of frozen orange juice concentrate in the freezer means you can make more than just orange juice. Try it in a variety of orange-flavored recipes.

This is SOOOOO good! I freeze the banana first and it gives it extra thickness. I also buy a bottle of simple syrup at the stores instead of making my own (much easier). I also use heavy cream for more thickness and add more kahlua.

The Sandals we went to served this drink and this recipe is very close. VERY close. I don't think it had chocolate in it though like someone suggested. Maybe more of the coffee liqueur? Anyway, this as written is darn good too! Just becareful because like all the drinks there these pack a punch but taste like candy!
this is not the recipe from Sandals. not the one me and my husband went to anyway (Negril) this is all we drank the whole time we were there. i personally watched them make it. There is Appleton Rum and chocolate syrup in the Dirty Banana, hence the "dirty"..duh

This is actually a Jamaican treat not necessarily just for Sandals! I've been to Jamaica countless times and have had them at every resort! We've tried to duplicate the recipe and even with these listed, it's not quite the same. Maybe it's the island air!!!

This is the best drink I have ever had! My husband and I spent our Honeymoon at the Whitehouse Jamaica Sandals Resort and I had one of these drinks every day b/c they were delicious! They tasted like a milkshake and was very refreshing when sitting out by the beach! I would recommend this delicious drink to anyone who doesn't like the taste of alcohol. You don't even realize you are drinking rum! :)
