Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.

Whether your fritters are veggie-packed with zucchini and onion, stuffed with savory seafood or full of sweet apple goodness, this batter is better.

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
2 eggs
Prepare your vegetables first (chop, sliced, or shred them as desired).
Whisk together the flour, milk, baking powder, salt, oil, and eggs until smooth.
Mix in the vegetables (or dip larger pieces of vegetables into the fritter batter).
Heat 1/2-inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the batter by spoonfuls, if making flat pancake-style fritters or add dipped vegetables to the skillet, and cook until browned, turning as needed.

Could you please tell us the approximate amount of food/vegetables etc., this much batter will coat? Then we can estimate about how many servings it will make. Thank you for your help.
It will vary by how you cut/shred the vegetables. Anywhere from 2-4 cups of vegetables, usually.
