An upgrade from basic garlic bread! A blend of mayo, butter, garlic, parmesan and seasonings dresses this bread up.
1/2 cup butter or margarine, at room temperature
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise or cut in slices
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a bowl, mix all ingredients except bread. Spread mixture on cut sides of bread. Place bread on a baking sheet, cut-side up.
Bake until golden, 12 to 15 minutes. Cut into slices to serve.
