Easy Slow Cooker Cabbage Casserole

ingredients
1 head cabbage, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup rice (not instant)
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
1 can (15 ounce size) tomatoes (crushed or diced), undrained
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Combine all the ingredients in the crock pot and stir well to mix and coat the cabbage in the tomato sauce.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or until the rice is cooked and the cabbage is tender.
Stir well before serving; serve hot.
