Spanish Rice with Ground Beef And Corn

ingredients
3/4 pound ground beef
1 package (10 oz. size) frozen corn
1 cup water
1 can (14.5 oz. size) stewed tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cup instant rice
directions
Brown meat, breaking pieces and stirring about 5 minutes. Add corn, water, tomatoes and seasonings, and bring to a boil. Stir in dry rice, cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.
I use tomato sauce if I don't have stewed tomatoes, and I add spices to taste.
