3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients (except cornstarch and red wine) in a saucepan and boil for 10 minutes.
Dissolve the cornstarch in the red wine. Add to the sauce and cook, stirring constantly, until it is slightly thickened.
Reduce oven temperature to 450 degrees F. Lay the ribs in a large enough pan, at least 2 inches deep. Cover the ribs with the sauce and bake for 1 hour.

This was awesome. Smelled so yummy cooking, my kids wanted it. Came out tender, moist and delicious. I used cider vinegar, as i didn't have any red wine. Still came out beautifully. I will definitely make this again!
