2/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sweet sherry
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger root
2 cloves minced garlic
1 lemon, juiced

1 pound boneless chicken chunks
pineapple chunks in juice


Mix marinade. Combine marinade and chicken in a plastic zipper-top bag. Marinate chicken overnight.

Skewer chicken chunks and pineapple and broil or grill until done.

If desired, you can bring marinade to a boil in a saucepan then use as a basting sauce while grilling.
