Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

If one follows the directions, the recipe is pretty good.
Saw this recipie on another site a few yrs ago. I believe it included instructions for cooking the chicken with some onion, garlic, salt+pepper and maybe a bay leaf. Also called for a little heavy cream or 1/2+1/2 in the broth at end of cooking
I think whoever submitted this recipe may have left some steps out..like what to do with the chicken meat. Would love to know how it's suppose to be though.
The directions are a little vague but it says 1 chicken, cooked, off the bone with 2 cups broth (note the "with"). It means to bring the broth and chicken to a boil and then drop the dumpling mixture on top.
