Serve this so-easy chicken a la king over rice or noodles. If you can't find the frozen pea blend simply substitute regular frozen peas and some chopped onions.

crock pot notes
Crock pots/slow cookers all heat differently. There is no standard among manufacturers. Cooking times are suggested guidelines based on our testing. Please adjust cooking times and temps to work with your brand and model of slow cooker.
Followed recipe to the letter. Cooked about 4hours and 15 min. it looked orange and tasted terrible. I think it cooked to long. I would try again but cook maybe 3 hours on low or 2 hours on high. My daughter said at 2hours it looked and smelled good.
Sounds like you have one of the "hotter" crockpot models. Other models can probably cook on high for the amount of time called for, but the ones that heat faster during the first couple of hours must modify the cooking time.

Really yummy, kids loved it and have put it on the favourites list.Easy As to make also.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.
