- #71907
ingredients
2 pounds sole fillets
1/2 cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons grated onions
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
directions
Rinse fish and pat dry. Arrange fish in a shallow pan.
In a small saucepan, combine lemon juice, butter, onion, brown sugar, mustard, salt and pepper. Heat stirring until blended.
Pour the sauce over the fish. Broil the fish slowly, basting with the sauce until the fish browns and flakes easily with a fork. Sprinkle with paprika after the final basting.

A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

Savory recipe that tastes fancier than it appears. Unique taste with elements of sweet and sour which compliments sole. Easy to prepare and cook, took about 5 mins to broill 2lbs of sole filets. Would make again.

super easy to do, and it is absolutely delicious. Getting requests to do it again already, 2 days later!

This was an easy and very tasty dish. I used a bit more brown sugar(by accident)which made it pretty sweet but the family loved it. Definitely worth a try even for kids that don't really like fish.
