The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

Cajun flavors never fail. Seared swordfish steaks coated in Cajun seasoning make for some flavorful fillets. A little spritz of citrus at the table is the final push to perfection.

4 swordfish steaks, about 6 ounce each
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 lemons or limes, cut in wedges
Brush oil on fish. Sprinkle cajun seasoning on both sides of fish.
Place a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. When skillet is very hot, add fish and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side or until fish is opaque.
Serve with lemon or lime wedges.
