1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoon powdered milk
1 1/2 tablespoon cooking oil
4 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1 envelope rapid-rise yeast
1 1/8 cup hot tap water
3 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 orange, zested
directions
Put all ingredients except chocolate chips into the bread maker in the order listed. Run the machine as if making raisin bread. At the point where you'd add the raisins to the dough, add the chocolate chips.
For easy removal from the pan, let the machine run completely through its cool-down cycle.
