Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.

This dessert is a must-have for coffee lovers. The combination of cocoa and coffee flavors make this mousse irresistible. It's the perfect way to finish a meal or enjoy as a sweet treat.
2 teaspoons powdered instant coffee or espresso
2 teaspoons hot water
3 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 can (14 ounce size) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
2 cups cold whipping cream
Combine the instant coffee powder and hot water until the coffee dissolves. Set aside.
Heat a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the butter and cook, stirring, until the butter melts.
Stir in the cocoa powder and dissolved coffee and mix until smooth. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and stir until well mixed. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside until cool.
When the chocolate mixture is cool, add the whipping cream to a large, chilled bowl and beat with an electric hand mixer until stiff peaks form.
Add the chocolate mixture to the whipped cream and fold gently to combine.
Spoon the mousse into individual dessert dishes and chill for 2 hours or until set.
Garnish as desired before serving with chocolate shavings, whipped cream, or fresh fruit, if desired.

Is pleasant but nothing like rich enough - too creamy, not enough chocolate. Not really a mousse.

I like mousse to be sweet and may add some powdered sugar to the cream when I whip it. Sweetened condensed milk is usually not sweet enough for me when added to recipes.
