Southern Chess Pie Recipe

Ingredients:
6 eggs
1 cup butter
3 cups sugar
2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 deep-dish pie shell (9-inch size) -- unbaked
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a mixing bowl, beat eggs; set aside.
In a medium saucepan over low heat on stovetop, melt butter Add sugar and vinegar, whisking constantly for 5 minutes, or until sugar is dissolved.
Pour sugar mixture over beaten eggs; mix well. Add vanilla; stir.
Pour filling into pie shell. Bake for 1 hour, or until center is set.
