It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

All it takes is a little Kahlua and whipped cream to dress up some plain chocolate ice cream.
1 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons Kahlua or more to taste
1 pint chocolate ice cream, softened (can also use vanilla, cookies and cream, etc)
Place the heavy cream in a bowl and whip until soft peaks form. Add the Kahlua and ice cream and mix until combined. Transfer the mixture to a covered freezer-safe container. Freeze for at least 2 hours.
To serve, scoop the ice cream into individual bowls and drizzle with extra Kahlua if desired.
Store the ice cream in the freezer.

Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
