Need a quick frosting? This recipe is basically just whipped cream with some added flavoring of sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Needs to be kept chilled to hold its shape.
1/4 cup granulated sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream, chilled
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine the sugar, cocoa powder, and cream in a mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer until thick and spreadable (do not over mix or the cream may separate). Add the vanilla and mix until incorporated.
Use the frosting on cupcakes or cakes, including layer cakes. Keep the frosting and frosted desserts refrigerated.

Split an angel food cake horizontally frost and put top on. Frost sides. Presto a light yet delicious cake.

This is such a great frosting i made it for people who don't like frosting but they ate it. Its quick easy to make great on cakes too! I love it.
