Say hello to the easiest, yummiest chocolate caramel fudge ever. It's a no-fuss, all-flavor kind of treat that's perfect for sharing.. or not. We won't judge.
3 cups semisweet chocolate pieces
1 can sweetened condensed milk, not evaporated
1 dash salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
In saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate pieces with milk and salt.
Remove from heat and stir in walnuts, topping and vanilla.
Spread evenly into foil-lined 8 or 9' square pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm.
Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut fudge into pieces.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
