Green Beans Caesar

ingredients
1 1/2 pound fresh or frozen green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons anchovy paste
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
directions
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add beans and blanch until tender-crisp, about 3 minutes. Drain.
Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute.
Swirl in anchovy paste and lemon juice. Add beans and stir to coat thoroughly with sauce. Season with pepper. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Serve at once.
