1/2 pound fresh green beans (trimmed)
1 large shallot sliced
2 teaspoons fresh garlic minced
4 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon Sorrento lemon olive oil
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
3 tablespoons kosher salt
Bring water to boil in a medium sauce. Add kosher salt. Cook green beans for about 4 to 5 minutes. Do not overcook. Drain immediately.
In medium skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and butter till melted. Add sliced shallot. Saute for 2 minutes, add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Add drained beans and using tongs toss beans until all are coated with butter/shallot mixture. Heat through.
Right before serving add sesame seeds, squeeze about 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice and toss.
Serve immediately.
