4 cups instant mashed potatoes, plus ingredients to prepare
1 envelope (1 ounce size) dry ranch salad dressing mix
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup sour cream
directions
Prepare the mashed potatoes as directed on the package using the stove top method.
Stir the ranch salad dressing mix, butter, and sour cream into the hot potatoes. Heat over low heat until the mixture is heated through.
Serve immediately.
