Pizza night is always a favorite, especially when you have great tasting pizza from some of the most popular restaurants.

Mashed potatoes are good and garlic mashed potatoes are better, but horseradish garlic mashed potatoes are best. The spicy horseradish works great with savory flavors, so these potatoes really shine when topped with brisket slices or saucy pot roast.

8 large russet potatoes
softened butter to taste
milk, as needed
2 tablespoons horseradish
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
salt, to taste
Fill a large pan with water and place over medium-high heat. While the water is coming to a boil, peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks. Add the potato chunks to the water.
Cook the potatoes until tender (they are done when they can easily be pierced with a fork).
Drain the potatoes well and return to the pan. Add butter and milk as desired (add more as needed). Mash with a potato masher until well mixed.
Add the horseradish, garlic, and salt. Stir well then serve hot.
