The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
1/4 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
SALAD
4 cups torn romaine lettuce
3 oranges, sectioned and drained
2 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced thin
1 cup strawberries, sliced in half

In small bowl stir together dressing ingredients.
In large bowl place torn lettuce. Pour 2 tablespoons dressing over lettuce; toss to coat. On individual salad plates place tossed lettuce; arrange orange sections, kiwi fruit and strawberries on lettuce. Drizzle with remaining salad dressing.
