It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Yes, you can have a delicious and easy spaghetti sauce by using just a few ingredients! Boost the flavor by adding Italian seasoning, roasted garlic, crushed red pepper, or whatever you desire.
2 cans (15 ounce size) diced Italian tomatoes
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
1 can (6 ounce size) tomato paste
1 medium white onion, peeled and chopped
Combine the tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and onion in a food processor or blender. Process until combined (you can puree it until smooth or leave it a little chunky).
To use as a sauce, heat the sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until heated through. Serve over or toss with your favorite pasta. Or, use in other recipes calling for spaghetti or pasta sauce.
Store unused sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. You can add additional seasonings as desired.

Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

I've always balked at making spaghetti sauce from scratch because it's been drilled into my head that it needs to slowly simmer for hours and hours to be any good (Italian MIL). But, I really dislike using the jarred stuff. I needed some sauce quick for another recipe and didn't have any in the jar so I found this. I actually laughed at how easy it was but the consistency and flavor tasted like the long simmered stuff. I did add some herbs to it, dried, because since it isn't simmering for a long time it needs a faster infusion than using fresh. And a little garlic. My husband who grew up with the slow simmered sauce thought I followed his mother's recipe!!! That's right, I fooled an Italian! Fantastic recipe so thank you Connie for sharing it!!!!

This dish is awesome! It literally took me 5 minutes to make! And it tastes delicious, I suggest adding a good amount of garlic salt in while mixing it! Very fast and easy and tastes way better than store bought! TRY IT
