Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
Oreo Triple Layer Chocolate Pie

32 Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies, divided
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 cups cold milk
2 packages (4-serving size) instant chocolate pudding and pie filling mix
1 container (8 ounce size) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
directions
Finely crush 24 of the cookies and mix with butter. Press firmly onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate.
Pour milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk for 2 minutes or until well blended (Mixture will be thick).
Spoon 1-1/2 cups of the pudding into crust. Gently stir half of the whipped topping into remaining pudding. Spread over pudding layer in crust.
Chop remaining cookies and stir into remaining whipped topping. Spread over pie.
Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.
