Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

Oh my goodness, these are phenomenal. BUT, the recipe as printed here is incorrect: you have to use **ALL** of the liqueurs, not just one of them. The 3 liqueurs combined make up a drink called a B-52, hence all of them are in this confection, 2 1/2 T. of each. Buy the small bottles at the liquor store, you know, stocking stuffer size. You can dip the balls in melted white chocolate, dark chocolate, etc. and roll some of them in crushed nuts or sprinkles. Use your imagination, have fun, and enjoy. Don't eat and drive! LOL

I have made this recipe for the last few years. I have changed from white to dark chocolate for the coating, it gives the candy a much richer flavor & brings out the orange of the Grand Marnier
