Chicken Fricassee with Red Cabbage

ingredients
1 cup sliced onion
1/3 cup olive oil
2 garlic, crushed
4 cups shredded red cabbage
6 pieces chicken, thighs or legs, skinned
1/2 cup red wine
salt and pepper
directions
Saute chicken in olive oil for 10 minutes. Drain off oil. Use this oil to saute onion, garlic, cabbage for 10 minutes. Drain off oil.
Put chicken back in frypan and cover with cabbage mixture. Add red wine, seasonings. Cover, cook over low heat, 45 minutes.
