Butterscotch Cheesecake Bars

ingredients
1 package (12 ounce size) butterscotch morsels
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup margarine
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chopped nuts
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In a medium saucepan, melt morsels with margarine and then stir in crumbs and nuts. Press half of the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9" x 13" baking pan.
In a large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy, Beat in sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and egg.
Mix well and then pour into prepared pan and top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool to room temperature. Chill before cutting into bars.

This is a great dessert. Very rich so also try it warmed a bit with vanilla ice cream on it. However, it's good enough to stand on its own.
