Fettuccine With Mediterranean Meat Sauce

ingredients
1 package (8 ounce size) refrigerated fettuccine
3/4 pound lean ground beef
4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
3 tablespoons chopped sundried tomatoes packed in oil
2 teaspoons crushed dried oregano
1 can (15 ounce size) tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
directions
Prepare fettuccine according to package directions; drain, set aside.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and saute until no longer pink, about 10 minutes.
Add garlic, sundried tomatoes and oregano. Mix well and saute another 3 minutes. Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Lower heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Toss fettuccine with sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on before serving.
