The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
Vegetable And Cheese Pasta

ingredients
1 can (14.5 ounce size) vegetable bouillon cube, broth
1 bag (16 ounce size) frozen broccoli, cauliflower and carrot medley
1 cup nonfat cottage cheese
1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
salt and pepper, to taste
12 ounces dried fettuccini pasta
directions
Bring broth to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add frozen vegetables, then cover and cook over medium heat until vegetables are tender.
Drain vegetables over a bowl to catch broth. Return vegetables to saucepan. Set pan aside.
Blend cottage cheese with 1/2 cup of the broth until smooth. Add puree to vegetables in saucepan. Stir in grated cheese, basil and red pepper. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Warm mixture over low heat while pasta is cooking.
Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain. Transfer hot pasta to a large bowl. Add warm vegetable cheese mixture. Combine thoroughly.
Serve immediately.
