Hot And Sweet Italian Sausage With Angel Hair

ingredients
3/4 pound hot Italian sausage, sliced into 1/2" pieces
3/4 pound sweet Italian sausage, sliced into 1/2" pieces
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup chopped onion
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 can (16 ounce size) tomatoes
1 can (29 ounce size) tomato puree
1/2 cup chopped parsley
2 teaspoons basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 whole cloves
1/4 cup grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
3 packages (9 ounce size) fresh angel hair pasta
directions
Saute first five ingredients in oil until light brown. Add tomatoes, puree, parsley and seasonings. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 minutes. Stir in cheese and simmer 10 minutes more.
Cook pasta according to directions on package. Divide among plates or large soup bowls and serve, topped with cheese.

I loved this recipe!! I didn't think it was quite necessary to have both types of Italian sausage in it. Yet you could tell the two flavors apart and it was very good. Easy to prepare also.
