ingredients
6 ounces uncooked angel hair pasta
1/4 cup finely shredded fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
freshly grated Parmesan cheese, to taste
directions
Cook the pasta in boiling water as directed on the package. Drain well and return to the pan.
Add the fresh basil, lemon juice, lemon peel, olive oil, and black pepper to the pasta and toss to coat the pasta in the mixture.
Divide the pasta between individual serving dishes. Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
