Mississippi Pecan Cake Recipe

Serves/Makes: 12
Ingredients:
2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
6 eggs, well beaten
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups white raisins cut up
2 cups chopped pecans
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and flavoring. Add flour and baking powder, sifted together. Add raisins and pecans. Blend well.
Place in tube pan. Bake at 275 degrees for 2 hours.
