Think spring with this version of a mojito made with grapefruit juice and rosemary instead of mint

1 ounce simple syrup
1 ounce fresh red grapefruit juice
2 sprigs fresh rosemary, stems removed
1 1/2 ounce white rum
club soda
1 slice grapefruit, cut into wedges
1 sprig fresh rosemary, for garnish
Muddle together the simple syrup, grapefruit juice, and rosemary in a cocktail glass. Add the rum then fill with ice. Top with club soda.
Add a wedge or two of grapefruit to the cocktail and garnish the glass with a fresh rosemary sprig.
Serve immediately.
