This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

The combination of ingredients replicate the flavor of an Asian pear, just like they serve at P.F. Chang's. Be sure to tip your bartender!
1 tablespoon lime juice
5 fresh mint leaves
1 ounce sour apple schnapps
1 1/2 ounce lemon rum
1 ounce pineapple juice
lemon-lime soda
ice
Combine lime and mint in a highball or collins glass. Mash together using a spoon, pestle or muddler.
Add the liquids except soda to a shaker. Add ice and shake until chilled. Pour into the glass, gently stir, and top off with lemon-lime soda.
Use fresh lime juice and mint for the best flavor.
Muddle the lime and mint gently to release the oils without turning the mint into pulp.
Chill the glass beforehand to help keep the cocktail cold longer.
Adjust the amount of soda to control the sweetness and carbonation level.
Shake the liquid ingredients vigorously to combine and chill them thoroughly.
Taste and adjust the balance of sour, sweet, and strength to your preference.
Serve immediately after preparing or it may start to lose the fizz from the soda.
Yes, you can use white rum or another flavored rum, but the flavor profile will slightly change.
Green apple liqueur or apple vodka can be used as substitutes for sour apple schnapps.
Add a small amount of simple syrup or increase the pineapple juice to sweeten the drink.
Orange juice can be used as a substitute, but it will alter the flavor to be more citrus-forward.
Yes, mix the ingredients except the soda in a large pitcher and chill until ready to serve. Add the soda just before serving.
A highball or collins glass is traditional, but any tall glass will work.
Garnish with a sprig of mint, a slice of lime, or a slice of apple for added presentation.
Yes, adding slices of pear or apple can enhance the fruity flavor and make for a nice presentation.
Reduce the lime juice and adjust the balance with more soda or a splash of simple syrup.
Highball or Collins Glass: For serving the Asian Pear Mojito. Its tall and narrow design allows for better mixing and presentation of the drink.
Muddler or Pestle: Used for mashing together the lime juice and fresh mint leaves in the glass, releasing the mint's essential oils for maximum flavor.
Measuring Cups and Spoons: To measure the lime juice, schnapps, rum, and pineapple juice.
Cocktail Shaker: For combining the liquids (sour apple schnapps, lemon rum, and pineapple juice) and ice, so that the drink is chilled and well-mixed before serving.
Bar Spoon or Regular Spoon: A tool to gently stir the mixture in the glass after pouring in the shaken ingredients and before topping it off with lemon-lime soda.
Cutting Board and Knife (optional): For cutting and preparing the fresh mint if it isn't pre-packed, slicing the lime before juicing it, or if a specific garnish is desired.

Better than PF Changâs because theirs is too sweet. I muddled a slice of pear with the mint leaves and lime, then followed with remainder of ingredients.

This tastes pretty close to the drink I remember at pf changs. Haven't had it in a while though. Definitely packs a wallup!
