Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

Smirnoff Vanilla Twist (vodka)...750ml...$12.99 Tablespoons Hirshey's Syrup...7.5tbs...$0.40 Sweetened Condensed Milk...2.5 cups...$2 Heavy Whipping Cream...1 pint...$2.18 Eggs...6 eggs...$0.50 I made 10 servings (2.5x what recipe calls for). All ingredients bought from Wal-Mart except for the vodka. Mine had too much chocolate flavor and not as much Alcohol by Volume as regular Baileys, but I used 1tbs more syrup than the recipe called for, and 1.5 fewer eggs. And 0.5 fewer cups heavy whipped chream. I'm still giving it five stars because of the overall flavor, I'd recommend using a tad less syrup than called for. And we used Smirnoff with Vanilla instead of coconut extract; highly recommended. I uploaded a picture, we poured the final mix in the smirnoff bottle and another bottle. smirnoff was a .75L bottle and the other was 1.36L bottle, which wasn't entirely full. So figure .75 + 1.25 = 2 Liters of Baileys, for only about $19! I saw a 1.75L bottle of Baileys at the store for $41. So this is definitely cheaper. We used a mixer, not a blender if that matters.
