Maple Nut Quick Bread

ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg, well beaten
1 cup milk
3/4 teaspoon maple flavoring
1 cup chopped nuts
directions
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, add egg, milk, and maple flavoring to flour mixture. Mix until well moistened. Stir in nuts.
Pour into a greased 9" x 5" loaf pan. Let stand for 20 minutes before baking.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 50 minutes or until tests done with toothpick.
