Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.
This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

the bread was moist, but fairly bland. I would definitely recommend adding much more peanut butter.

The bread was tasty...just what I was looking for when I searched for a recipe for peanut butter bread. I did however add an extra 1/4 cup of peanut butter, and my husband still thought the PB flavor was pretty subtle. I might add just slightly more (because we like it nice and peanut buttery) I also exchanged the last 1/2 cup of flour for oatmeal, just to add some whole grains. All in all, it was good!
