Almond Poppy Seed Bread With Orange-Almond Glaze

ingredients
3 cups flour
2 3/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cup oil
3 teaspoons poppy seed
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon almond flavoring
1 tablespoon butter flavoring
GLAZE
1/4 cup orange juice concentrate
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring
directions
For bread, blend all ingredients together in a large bowl and beat 2 minutes with electric mixer. Turn into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
For Glaze: Blend glaze ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil; simmer 5 minutes. Brush onto loaves while warm.
Notes: This recipe also makes about 5 mini loaves. Bake about 35 minutes for mini loaves, or until done.

I made this last year and could still remember the delish taste, so decided to make it this Christmas for the relatives and neighbors! What a treat! I did lessen the amount of sugar, though, and it is still delish!

This is the best quick bread ever! I have made is several times now and it just disapears, all my friends have asked for the recipe. Turns out perfect every time. I don't change a thing.
