Nutter Butter Frozen Peanut Butter Pie

ingredients
24 Nutter Butter peanut butter sandwich cookies
5 tablespoons butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
8 ounces Cool Whip
directions
Crush cookies in zipper-style plastic bag with rolling pin or in food processor. Mix crumbs and butter. Press onto bottom and up sides of 9" pie plate.
Mix cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla with mixer on medium until very well blended. Gently stir in 1-1/2 cups of the Cool Whip.
Spoon into crust. Freeze for 4 hours or overnight until firm. Let stand 30 minutes or until pie can be cut. Garnish with remaining Cool Whip and additional cookies, if desired.
