Looking for the ultimate sandwich? This fried pork tenderloin sandwich is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
oil (for frying)
1/2 pound pork tenderloin
1 cup cracker meal
1 cup concentrated beef broth
4 hamburger buns
Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F.
Slice the pork into 3/4-inch thick slices. Pound each slice with a meat mallet until they are 1/4-inch thick.
Place the cracker meal in a shallow dish. Place the beef broth in another shallow dish.
Dip each pork tenderloin slice in the broth and let any excess liquid drip off. Next, dredge the pork in the cracker meal, patting the cracker meal so it adheres to the pork.
Place the coated pork slices in the deep fryer and cook until the coating is golden brown and the pork is cooked through (about 3-5 minutes). Remove the pork from the oil and let drain on paper toweling.
Place the fried pork tenderloin slices on buns and top with any desired condiments.
