Vietnamese Green Papaya Salad Recipe

Ingredients:
***Salad***
4 cups shredded green papaya or jicama to substitute
1 cup beef jerky (yes, beef jerky, NOT Slim Jim brand), chopped
1/2 cup crushed peanuts
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 lime, juiced
***Dressing***
***(all ingredients to taste)***
nuoc nam, Vietnamese anchovy sauce
rice vinegar
chili sauce
sugar
water
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients for the dressing, according to your taste. Don't be thrown off by the anchovy sauce; it imparts a wonderful flavor. Spoon out dressing on the bottom of the plate. On it, layer the papaya, beef jerky, peanuts, cilantro and splash the top of the salad with lime juice.
