Ingredients:
3 3/4 cups water
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup fat-free milk

Directions:

In 2-qt saucepan, heat water and salt to boiling. Stir in oats, cranberries, apricots and half of the brown sugar.

Return to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.

Remove saucepan from heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. Serve oatmeal sprinkled with remaining brown sugar and the milk.
