ingredients
vegetable oil
1 1/2 cup buttermilk baking mix
1 1/2 cup cornmeal
1 package (12 ounce size) pork sausage links cooked and crumbled
1 can (4.25 ounce size) diced green chiles
1 small onion, chopped
3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
directions
In large skillet, heat 1 inch of oil to 375 degrees F.
Mix all remaining ingredients until well blended.
Drop batter by tablespoon into hot oil. Fry about 3 minutes, turning once, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
