The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
Baked Brie With Raspberry

ingredients
1 tube refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 round or wedge Brie cheese
raspberry jam
brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 green apple, cored and sliced
favorite snack crackers
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
On a nonstick cookie sheet, roll out the crescent flat and set the Brie on top. Spread enough jam on top of the Brie to cover and fold the dough over the top. Pinch the edges of the dough to seal in Brie. Then cut off the excess.
Drizzle maple syrup over the dough and place a handful of brown sugar over the top. Bake for 10 minutes.
Serve with crackers and green apple slices.
