INGREDIENTS:

1 pound Great Northern beans, soaked
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans (4 ounce size) green chiles
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 can (14.5 ounce size) reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 cup water


DIRECTIONS:

Put beans in med. pan and cover with water. Bring to boil; reduce heat and allow to simmer 20 minutes. Drain and discard water. Cut chicken into 1" pieces and brown if desired. Put all ingredients into stoneware. Stir to mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on LOW 10 hrs. (HIGH 6 hrs.).

I so loved this recipe that I've made it many times. I make large batches then freeze them and have whenever I want. soooo good!!! best thing is that it is low calorie and being on a diet, this is one thing I can look forward to.
