Caramel Corn Recipe

Ingredients:
2 quarts popcorn
salt
2 tablespoons butter in a pan
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup water
Directions:
Pop popcorn, lightly salt. Prepare sauce. Melt butter in a pan. Add brown sugar. Add water. Stir. Boil the above for sixteen minutes to "soft-ball" stage (drop of liquid changes to a ball in glass of cold water) Being very careful as this hot liquid will burn to the bone, take about a cup of popcorn at a time and drip hot sauce over the popcorn stirring as you coat the popcorn. I use a sieve over the hot pot Continue till all the popcorn is coated. Allow to cool, and serve.
