Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.

Get a little island flavor with this simple seasoning mixture. Use it on pork, chicken, seafood, or vegetables. Works well as a sprinkled-on seasoning or as a rub before grilling.
1/3 cup instant minced onion
1 tablespoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons ground allspice
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Pour into an airtight container or spice jar. Store at room temperature for up to 6 months. Shake before using.
Use anytime you want a seasoned salt flavor. Excellent on pork or chicken.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

Made this originally to use on fish but I've since used it on everything from chicken to pork to corn on the cob.
