Buttermilk Oatmeal Bread - CDKitchen.com

ingredients

1 teaspoon active dry yeast
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup toasted rolled oats
2 3/4 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 1/4 cup buttermilk, heated until lukewarm

directions

Combine all the ingredients in the bread machine in the order recommended by the machine manufacturer. Select the white bread setting with a light crust.

When the bake cycle is complete, remove the bread pan from the machine and let it cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Remove the bread from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing or storing in an airtight container. Store at room temperature for up to 4 days.
