ingredients
1 package (16 ounce size) fettuccine pasta 1 package (10 ounce size) frozen broccoli florets 1/2 cup butter 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened and cubed 1 cup milk 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 dash black pepper
directions
Cook the fettuccine pasta in boiling water as directed on the package.
In another saucepan, cook the broccoli with 1-inch of water over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, cover the saucepan, and let it simmer for 6-8 minutes or until tender. Drain well.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink. Remove the shrimp from the skillet with a slotted spoon and set aside to keep warm.
Add the cream cheese, milk, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth.
Stir the shrimp and broccoli into the cream cheese sauce. Stir well then let heat through for 2-3 minutes.
Serve the shrimp alfredo with broccoli over the cooked fettuccine.
This was FABULOUS! I don't know someone could say it was blah. We used fresh broccoli and steamed it. Next time, we will increase the sauce by 50%. Regardless, we will be making this frequently as we loved it!

This was so incredibly good I was glad I made the full recipe so there are leftovers (only 2 of us). Creamy and tasty. I followed the recipe exactly. Didn't change anything and I wouldn't change anything.

Was on the blah side
Too much cheese, didn't let the butter, shrimp and garlic taste come through.
Reminded me of a soup recipe.

I'm new to cooking but I love to try a lot of different things. I loved how my broccoli and shrimp alfredo turned out after using this recipe! I thought there would be an error somewhere in the recipe but if you follow these directions it'll come out perfectly.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
