Hawaiian Rumaki

ingredients
3 fresh or thawed frozen chicken livers
6 canned water chestnuts, drained
6 slices bacon
soy sauce, optional
directions
Halve chicken livers. Put a chicken-liver half and a water chestnut together, and wrap bacon slice around both.
Run metal skewer through center of each Rumaki. Arrange on rack in shallow, open pan. Turning occasionally, broil, about 5 inches from heat, about 10 minutes, or until chicken livers are done.
Serve with soy sauce, if desired.
